Honey

What is Honey?

A thick, sweet, syrupy liquid collected in large quantities from the beehive.  It is made using the nectar from flowering plants.

Honey, which is produced by honeybees, is bee food saved inside the beehive for eating during times of scarcity.  The honeybee is the most known honey producer and is the only insect that produces honey in quantity.

Honey is a delicious natural substitute to syrups, sugar, spreads and sweeteners and goes excellently well with toast or mixed in teas and drinks.  Pure natural honey also offers potential health benefits.  It is known for its natural antibacterial and healing properties, and its ability to help with healthy weight loss and management.
